Lyonchhen Dr Lotay Tshering attended the closing ceremony of the 5th Camp RUF (Rural-Urban Friendship) on 30th December, 2018.

At the closing ceremony, Lyonchhen said that the youths are the backbone of a nation and congratulated them for being a part of Camp which aims at bridging the gap between the rural and the urban Bhutanese.

Lyonchhen also announced KC (Kelzang Chhoden) Scholarship for the best boy and best girl from the Camp.

For the KC Scholarship, Lyonchhen will annually sponsor financial assistance for the best boy Sangay Wangchuk from Buli Central School in Zhemgang until the completion of his education.
Similarly, for the best girl Indra Maya Raika from Wangchu MSS in Chukha, Hon’ble Tshewang Lhamo, Member of Parliament from Bongo-Chapcha will annually sponsor financial assistance until the completion of her education.
