Prime Minister Dr Lotay Tshering received his second dose of COVID-19 vaccination today, leading a team of volunteers as the nation gears for the significant
milestone of the nationwide rollout on July 20.
It took place following a pre-screening by health officials, in the backdrop of the monumental National Memorial Chorten.
Since Moderna vaccine is being used for the first time in the country, the prime minister and volunteers took the vaccine before the nationwide rollout by way of sharing experience.
The prime minister will remain in observation for 30 minutes after which he will make a statement to the nation.
