It’s back to the land that is almost his second home, where he embraced his dream of becoming a doctor and learned the traits of saving lives. But this time, he is an emissary carrying special prayers of His Majesty The King and love of the people of Bhutan.

Lyonchhen Dr Lotay Tshering arrived in Dhaka, Bangladesh today to join his friends and the people of Bangladesh in the celebration of the centennial birth anniversary of founding leader, Bangabandhu Shiekh Mujibur Rahman and the golden jubilee of the independence of the country.
And with similar warmth and courtesy, his counterpart Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina greeted him at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport. Following the Guard of Honour at the airport, Lyonchhen visited National Martyrs’ Memorial and Bangabandhu Memorial Museum and paid respects.
Lyonchhen’s visit follows those of the President of Maldives, Prime Minister of Sri Lanka, and President of Nepal in the preceding days.
